The Mustangs for the Mustang Makeover 2020 have been captured in Oregon in recent years due to overpopulation. They were born in the wild and spent the first years of their lives there. Optimal conditions and life in large herd families have left a special mark on these animals. 

Most of the event horses are from the Warm Springs HMA and were captured 2018.

As in the past years, the event mustangs are prepared for the flight in America by an experienced trainer, so that they get the flight without stress. The horses can be led and loaded. Further training is then carried out by the trainer in Germany and is the aim of the competition Mustang Makeover.
